Operation Lupine
RESULTS So: a tight game. The Wolverines gave the Hiroseki pasting (and one detachment surrendered/fled) plus they lost commanders shot up but – though luck – I managed to get the objective. TANK RIDERS We tried a rule out I’ve been thinking of (and amended it during play). As is popular nowadays (and indeed in WW2) infantry can ride on the outside of vehicles: If there isn’t enough space you can mount infantry on the outside of vehicles. ITU on small vehicles like Jeeps – 2TUs on any larger vehicles. Advantages – they move slightly faster. No difference – They still have to pay to mount and deploy (1LP) Disadvantage – The vehicle must lose a speed to ensure that they don’t fall off. OR They can go at regular speed but a QR is made once per whole move and – if they fail – they do fall off and gain a suppression. Disadvantage – If the vehicle is shot at the fire counts against the infantry with no cover and the vehicle simultaneously. Disadvantage – No firing main guns but secondary weapons can fire. If the vehicle only has what might be classed as a secondary or support weapon (say a jeep or an APC) that can fire.
