Colonel ben Medhi Hussein ben Medhi  was originally an officer in Fasolini’s Company. Up until his death in 329TW, Colonel Guido Fasolini commanded a small infantry force. Alongside anti air/armour missile launchers and grenade launchers, the company’s main infantry weapons were cone-bore assault rifles as side arms and – on a larger scale – as single barrelled 2cm – the Oto Melara 410C Gun System (and post 330TW multi barrelled 440C) anti-air support weapons on a tracked chassis. Colonel Albrecht Waldstejn took over command on Fasolini’s demise with Major Hussein ben Mehdi as his 2IC. However – after an injury in combat – ben Medhi decided to take a break to recover and retired from Waldstejn’s mercenary unit. In 335TW he persuaded a few trusted personnel from Fasolini’s Company to move with him – notably including Sergeant Stack Mboko – to run his infantry and ben Medhi became the commander of ben Medhi Legion. Although – on paper – Mboko was a sergeant he had been serving with the Colonel right the way back to Beauty and Cecach. He had chosen to stay at three stripes but carried a weight above his rank, in the Colonel’s eyes at least. With Stack and other old comrades in place ben Medhi set about getting some contracts and reequipping the force to a higher level. One of their early contracts involved the Tribune system. Ben Mehdi’s fought a campaign on the icy world of Tribune 4, a part of the Hackabe Cluster.  supporting The Tribune Ruling Council against the self appointed Federal Government. The latter hired The Lightning Division backed up by the local artillery and support specialists, the Firelords and – finally – Ander’s Legion. Ben Medhi’s people had a fight on their hands...   . .
