The Way of the Warrior - a Slammer's Scenario
Opposing the Slammers and Sincanmo were: The Hashemites with two detachments including an on table MLRS and other ATGW missile launchers but using a number of lighter vehicles. These were led by Major Zeid. The Thunderbolts had four whole detachments (everything on the sheet, in fact!) led by Colonel Chiro himself and a Major, a Captain and a Lieutenant leading the other three detachments. Finally, the Broglies were led by the eponymous man himself with two detachments including six tank destroyers and lighter forces with half a dozen decent infantry groups and some calliopes and jeeps. Like the Slammers, these are Elite forces. The only other non-standard rules we invoked were: We normally play, with smaller games, the optional rule for Separate Detachments  (Page 108). With such a big force (13 detachments over five forces) and only three players, for initiative we mobilised whole forces rather than separate detachments (so - in effect - we didn’t use the optional rule like we usually do). We used the best commander on each force and rolled for initiative for him (or her) and then bowled for each individual commander of each detachment, bowled for their personal leadership points and made a leadership 'pool' for each force to spend as they saw fit. We Also used the Anti-ATGW Enhanced Data Link Elite skill in Supplement 4 (page 5) which allows calliopes and tribarrels and other dedicated weapons with an anti-missile capability to support accompanying vehicles within their line-of-sight.
